1992 REVIEW!

IKIRU (dir: Akira Kurosawa, Not Rated) – Bart says, "I don't blame the world for remembering Kurosawa most fondly for his awesome samurai epics. However, this movie about a dying bureaucrat who builds a park gets my vote for the Master's finest achievement. I sure do cry big, happy tears whenever I watch it."
JEREMIAH JOHNSON (dir: Sydney Pollack, PG) – Kurt says, "Robert Redford as a mountain man? Yes, please! I'll take five. I'll literally take five copies of this movie home with me because it's that good. Don't be scared; although we know very little about the mid-1800s, Hollywood has once again used magic to recreate what is now what was once then. Rent this movie!"
A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT (dir: Robert Redford, PG) – Kurt says, "Brad Pitt makes even fly fishing more fun. This movie makes me feel so good. If you're tired of summer hit movies with massive explosions and want a nice change of pace, then this movie might just be really close to what you want."
