^MOONLIGHT (USA, R) - This Oscar-winning film is a drama about finding one's self. ALLIED (USA, R) - A French resistance fighter and a Canadian intelligence officer fall in love during the 1940s in North Africa. When they return to London, their relationship is put to the ultimate test. I think this has got to be one of those "opposites attract" kinda things cuz otherwise I just don't get it.

*THE WITNESS (USA, Not Rated) - This doc is about Kitty Genovese, the woman who was murdered in a street and nobody did anything. In psychology, this is known as the bystander effect which essentially states that the more people witness an event, the less likely it is anyone will do anything because everyone assumes someone else will do something. The victim's brother is looking for answers but, unfortunately, the answer is that people kinda suck.
